Why we started Teefs
Because studying shouldn't be a line item on top of dental school.
After realizing how many platform charge for access to practice for the INBDE. I started buidling teefs. None of them were unreasonable on their own, but stacked on top of tuition, instruments, loans, and living expenses, "just another few hundred dollars" adds up.
Bryan, the founder of Teefs, comes from software, where a huge amount of what we build and learn from is open source. People give their best work away so the next person has a shorter runway. Dental education deserves that same energy. So Teefs is built in that spirit, free where it can be, transparent about how it stays alive, and focused on helping you learn, not on upsells.
It stays that way because of sponsors who back the mission instead of selling to the students. If you want to see who's keeping the lights on, they deserve the credit.
